It is one of the big weddings to cap 2018 up in style. It happened yesterday in Lagos and it is the wedding of Toyosi, @toyosia the daughter of Segun Aganga, a former Minister of Industry, Trade and Investments.
The Agangas gave out of one of their darling daughters in marriage to her lover of two years, Adekanmi Lawson, on December 20, during a small event inside their Lagos home, then followed by a grand reception at the Balmoral Event Centre inside Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. The traditional wedding was glamorous.
The white wedding we hear, will take place in London in January 2019.
The groom’s father is Kolapo Lawson, who runs one of Nigeria’s biggest indigenous business conglomerates with interests in banking, real estate, manufacturing, food and beverages sector and with turnover in several billions.
He was the Chairman, Board of Ecobank Transnational, Nigeria ; Chairman, Agbara Estates Limited; Chairman of Vitamalt Plc; CEO, Lawson Corporation, a trading and investment company. He also sits on the Boards of some other businesses.
A number of political top shots, businessmen, captains of industries as well as CEOs of blue chips companies were present at the wedding yesterday.
Shuga Band, @shugaband was on the band stand at the wedding, which was attended by many Lagos society women. Davido later performed at the after party held inside the same venue.
