Atiku Insists Nigeria Must Return To Community Policing To End Insecurity

Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the last election, Atiku Abubakar has once again reiterated that community policing and true federalism remain the only antedote to stopping the waves of insecurity currently plaguing the country.

In a short post personally signed by him on his social media handles.. Atiku recalled that things have never gotten this worse in the history of Nigeria. 

He wrote.. 

"When I was a child, Nigeria had little crime. We did not depend on police from Lagos or Kaduna. We had a community police system. Nigeria must return to community policing, adapted to suit the culture and history of each of the 6 zones, in order to stem the tide of insecurity. -AA"
