She has been one of the prominent faces on the Lagos social circuit in the last couple of years. She is fondly called Alhaja Akube by those who know her well. Alhaja Kuburat Shitta is one woman who has been rocking the social scene for ages.
Though she is aging gracefully, Hajia Akube has a style that catches attention anywhere she steps at. She has a charming style.
This influential society woman is from the popular Shitta family in Surulere and also own a house there.

Hajia Akube, we scooped is close to many 'Who is Who' in Lagos. She is well-connected and that is why she is always invited to almost all the big parties in Lagos. She was very visible during the last election campaign.
Alhaja Shitta is a close ally of the former Governor of Lags, now Minister of Works & Housing, Babatunde Fashola (San). Till today, anytime he is taking a walk when he is around in Lagos, he stops over to say hello to her and most times they share gist together.
Just days back, she was away in Abuja to celebrate with many of the newly-appointed appointed ministers.

Even though Alhaja Shitta is said to be a no non sense woman, she still has so many people who maintain good relationships with her.
