Lockdown: HRH Oscar Doe Slams Prez For Ignoring Real Needs And Interests Of Ghanaians

HRH Oscar Yao Doe has slammed President Akufo-Addo for not showing real Empathy, compassionand wisdom to the Ghanaian people, with the lockdown order he gave over the ongoing humanitarian crisis caused by the coronavirus scourge. Although he is not against the idea of lockdown, the businessman said the president did not factor the real interest and needs of the people into his decision. Rather, he said, the president has only 'Plunged Ghanaians Into Unnecessary Confusion, Stress, Pain And Suffering', occasioned by last minute panic efforts by people in anticipation of the lockdown efforts. He wrote...
"We Are Not A Developed Country Where People Are Paid For Lockdowns.Take Note, Please Mr President.

If Truly Lockdown Was Needed, It's For The Good of Society. But Most Importantly, The Implementation Strategy Should Have Factored (In) And Considered People's Needs On This Critical Decision Making!

I Believe Akufo-Addo Should Have Announced The Lockown Earlier; Probably On Wednesday (As Speculated) And Then Effective From Sunday Night, or As Announced on Friday Night, But Effective From Tuesday Midnight. (With That,) People Can Prepare And Adjust Accordingly. But In This Instance, (There Was) Nothing Of That Sort.

Akufo-Addo Has (Again) Proven Zero Wisdom, Zero Empathy And Zero Compassion. He Has Rather Plunged Ghanaians Into Unnecessary Confusion, Stress, Pain And Suffering Just Like That, With His Presidential Authority.

A Leader Whom I Have Always Thought Has Empathy, Kindness, Compassion, And Caring, Especially Relating To The Feelings Of The Ordinary People Are Experiencing Daily Through Hard Hustling In The Market and Workplaces.

I Was Totally Wrong About President Akufo Addo. I Never Thought Everything About Akufo-Addo's Presidential Ambitions Was Staged Managed Through (His) Joining Human Rights Activism. Apparently, His Real Aim Was The So Called Danquah-Busia, Ofori-Atta- Akufo-Addo, Political Legacy."
