Massive Poverty Seen During 3wks Lockdown Exposed The Impact Of Heartless Collapse Of Local Banks On Ghanaians -HRH Oscar Doe

The widespread poverty across Ghana, which was made very obvious during the just concluded 3 weeks lockdown to combat the spread of coronavirus has exposed in a big way, the negative impact the recent collapse of some indigenous financial institutions and local companies is having on the people. This is according to philanthropist and businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe who said a lot of the liquidated banks and businesses could have been of come to the rescue of Ghanaians at this critical time of need.

KingOscar, in a public post said the coronavirus pandemic has exposed all the lies and deceits of the Akufo-Addo administration in the last 3 years, in just 3 weeks. According to him, "Ghana missed a huge opportunity to protect its own locally-made, successful businesses that could have been of (great) help to support many poor and vulnerable in a timely manner. And it is now clear that the impact of collapsing Ghanaian-owned banks and businesses was a very wrong idea, and this has been felt by all". Read his full post below..
Ghana's Watermelon Economy Burst: Coronavirus Lessons:

Even (As Just Back As) Early March 2020, The So-Called Economic Wizards Namely; Ken Ofori-Atta And Dr. Ernest Addison Were Singing Hymms (And) Choruses In Self-Praising.

Verse 1: Ghana Is Now (The) Best Performing Economy In The World Under Akufo Addo's Capable Hands.
Verse 2: Ghana's Foreign Reserved Has Increased Significantly And More Robust -Dr. Addison.

Verse 3: Akufo-Addo Has Turned The Economy Around Significantly Within 3 Years -Dr. Bawumia.

Verse 4: Ghana Has Secured 458 Billion Ghs 50-100 Year Bond -Ken Ofori-Atta.
Verse 5: Recent 3 Billion Dollars Bond From Over Subscription Has Hit The Bank of Ghana Account -Ken Ofori-Atta.

Verse 6: (The) Planting For Food And Jobs (PFJ Project) Shows That Akufo Addo Was God Sent! Ghana Is Now Bumping In Food Harvest And Reserve -Dr. Akoto Osei.

Verse 7: 1D1F Is A Game Changer For Ghana's Industrial Revolution. Ghana's Food Buffer Has Been Stocked Massively And Unprecedentedly -Dr. Bawumia.

However, The Reality Has (Now) Been Exposed And Clearly, All The (Statements) Above Were Not Factual. (They Were) Pure Imaginations, Fictions.
Ghana Missed (A) Huge Opportunity To Protect Its Own Locally-Made, Successful Businesses That Could Have Been Of (Great) Help To Support Many Poor And Vulnerable In A Timely Manner. It Is Now Clear (That) The Impact Of Collapsing Ghanainan-Owned Banks And Businesses Was (A Very) Wrong Idea And It Has Been Felt By All.

Not Many Mega Rich People Are Around Now To Help Ghanainans In This Critical (Time Of) Need! The Local Banks' Owners Would Have Stepped In Big Time (By Now) As They Were Doing In The Past, To Support Many Ghanainans. Even Smaller Radio Stations Feeding Families Have Been Closed Down For Political Reasons; So Their Employees Are (Now) Jobless And Suffering. Can You Imagine?

Destroying Businesses Is Not In Anyone's Interest,Trust Me. That's Why I Devoted Most Of My Time Last Year To Writing About It. I Always Believe Posterity Will Judge.

Interestingly, A Health Pandemic Has Exposed The Impact Of That Heartless Decision So Fast Within 3 Weeks Of Lockdown. The Abject Poverty We Saw In Ghana Was Unimaginable Few Weeks Ago.

Even Though Every Effort To Help So Far, Is Well Appreciated, But The Hit And Run Interventions Are Not Helpful Enough. Hard Balls Are Needed At This Crucial Moment But Unfortunately, No One Seems To Show That Bold Strength Consistently.
