Olympic Medalist, Blessing Okagbare And Hubby Are Calling It Quits After 5yr Marriage

Then fastest woman in Africa and Olympic silver medalist in 2014, when she got married to her then footballer hubby, Igho Othegheri, but almost six years after their wedding, the flame of her love for him has been put off. They are ending their marriage, as Igho had accepted a divorce proposal from his estranged wife.

Blessing has filed for divorce from her husband after a stint of marital crisis. The couple got married in Sapele, Delta State in November 2014. They relocated to the United States after their wedding, but they have gone their separate ways amid allegations of infidelity, laziness and other irreconcilable differences for a while now.

It was gathered that Blessing Okagbare initiated the divorce process which has led to face-offs between members of their families.

When Mr. Otegheri was contacted by a magazine over the development, he said; ”She has said all the stories, I don’t have anything to say.. I leave everything to God. Thank you.”
