Drama At Graveyard Of UK-Based Rich Nigerian, Dapo Williams; Wife Bounces His First Son, Daughter


While while is body was about to take its final place of rest at a cemetery in London, his loved ones were brewing a bitter family war, as bouncers whisked away his first son, and a daughter (from his other relationships) away from the event on the orders of the wife of Chief Dapo Williams, Yeye Tina Williams. Late Chief Williams was one of the most-influential Nigerians in London. His burial took place on Tuesday, August 26, following his demise at 60, on August 10, 2020 from an undisclosed ailment. A short video recording of the incident has gone viral.
In the video, bouncers were seen whisking away the son and his sister was always being guided out of the venue.
Some sympathizers at the cemetery, who apparently could recognize them were also seen trying to calm then down eventually too. Their mother was not there.

This development has cast a cloud on the beautiful memories and tributes that have raining on the departed socialite since news of his death broke. A lot of commentators however have been castigating his widow, for not being sober enough (about her husband's death) to have had the strength to stop his other children from performing burial rites on their dad. 

Otunba (Dr) Oladapo Osun-Williams hailed from Lagos State, Nigeria. He was born on 11 March 1960. He was a big time, successful businessman. A qualified architect, Chartered Surveyor, building construction expert, and a commercially-focused real estate merchant, he was a man of many parts with vast experience in various industry sectors. His death was mourned by many across the world, including President Buhari who released a special tribute in his honor. 
Dr 'Dapo Williams, during his time, was praised globally for his pedigree in the area of education and professional experience. He attended numerous first-class and celebrated academic institutions all over the world including the Harvard Business School USA, Oxford University UK, University of Cambridge UK.

The late philanthropist was a prominent member of many international bodies; - both professional and social. He was also a recipient of numerous awards, honours, and recognitions from far and near.  Chief Dapo Williams was torn between the United Kingdom and Nigeria since leaving Nigeria in 1989, while working as an oil rig engineer with Chevron Nigeria Plc.

He was a holder of many chieftancy titles in Nigeria, including the Otunba Fiwagboye of Arigiland, and the Bashorun of Yaba Lagos. Otunba Dapo Williams was a role model and mentor to black youths in the African/Caribbean communities. He enjoyed his Formula 1 car racing, Golf, and watching his beloved Arsenal Football Team.
