The immediate-past chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mr Babatunde Fowler has been taken into custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged fraud.
Fowler, who was the Chairman of the Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) before taking up his last assignment in Abuja was reportedly invited in by the anti-graft commission this morning.
According to reports, he was invited over an ongoing investigation involving Alpha Beta Consulting, a tax firm that has been linked to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
