They have both made names in the movie world. Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe have both graced TV screens of movie lovers over the years and they have become big personalities in their individual rights. However, they have been locking horns in a cold rivalry war over the years. Their rift, though not too visible to the public, is not hidden to a lot of their colleagues. They have both not been on talking terms for years now.

Even while they were talking (back in the days), those who are in the know said these two actresses have always have something against each other, mostly based on rivalry. Iyabo Ojo, according to those who are conversant with goings-on, has always felt she is not on the same level with Mercy while Mercy feels she has acquired more than Iyabo.

And no one could doubt that both Iyabo and Mercy have been living large in recent years.

Meanwhile, these two, ironically have some things in common, they were once married, and are both single mothers and they are both blessed with 2 kids.

Recall that 2 years back, Iyabo Ojo was linked with a popular, controversial clergyman. The story generated a lot of controversy in the industry back then.  The same man was also linked to another controversial Nollywood actress. Around that time, gists were circulating that the said Nollywood actress is the one behind negative stories published about Iyabo Ojo on social media. After that story died down, Iyabo Ojo was further linked to another controversial story of her body-enhancing surgery in Turkey. Perhaps, those stories were not new to most people, as these actresses are usually involved in one controversy or the other.
