Paul And Anita Okoye's 7yr Marriage Hit The Rocks, As Wife Files For Divorce

Hush-hush about troubles happening in the seven year marriage of Paul Okoye (Rudebwoy), formerly of Psquare fame to his age long lover, Anita Okoye, are finally becoming louder, after reports emanated today that the wife of the singer has filed for divorce. Court documents relating to the divorce were leaked to the public earlier today. Anita has filed for the union between the two to be ended legally.

Meanwhile, the latest development is not coming as a surprise to those who have really been in the know of happenings in the home of the popular music star. There had been rumours of the couple's split for months now, but no one could tell whether they were heading for a divorce.

Anita first sparked the divorce rumours back in April this year, when it was reported that she relocated with their three children to the United States of America.

Anita and Paul who were university sweethearts got married in 2014 in a very flamboyant wedding ceremony held in Port Harcourt.

They welcomed their first son, Andre, a year before their wedding and in 2017, they welcomed a set of twins, Nadia and Nathan.

Before now, there had been a few stories about Anita in the media concerning her relationship with Paul.

In 2019, a popular Instagram aphrodisiac vendor, Jaruma-Empire had accused Anita of buying her items to keep her marriage with Paul together. She later took down the story from Instagram.

In her petition in the divorce documents, Anita accused Paul of Adultery among other allegations. She also advised her now estranged husband in the legal document to challenge the petition he feels disgruntled.

Meanwhile, the talented musician is yet to make any public comment on the development.
