Have Remi Surutu And Fathia Balogun Ended Their Bitter Rift? .. Actresses Party Together 1yr After Exchanging Hot Slaps In Public

Last Thursday, March 31, 2022 a UK-based lady, Hon. Omolola Bakare hosted a section of the Lagos social circuit to her 40th birthday party. The well attended gig was held at the Granduer Event Centre Oregun, Ikeja. Guests included Lagos transport union boss, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) and top actresses, including Fathia Balogun, Kemi Korede, Tayo Odueke, Remi Surutu and a host of others.
Pictures and videos from the party circulated on social media. In a video posted by @abiolaorisileeventandparties Fathia Balogun and Remi Surutu were seen in a surreal situation, sharing the dance floor together. For those who follow both actresses well, it can't be less shocking seeing them together in such situation after their messy fight exactly a year ago.

While Fathia was on the dance floor, (with the celebrant) a male unknown came to spray cash on her and he was later joined by Remi Surutu. The two shared smiles at each other. Could this simply mean all is well between the two who dragged each other dirty following an incident that happened in February last year in Ekiti. Some sources said certain elders among the women in the industry might have helped them settle the rift

The fight trended so well on social media then. Remi Surutu was said to have slapped Fathia at a burial party that was hosted by one UK-based businessman, Bamidele Omoshehin in Ekiti. After the fight, while Fathia had kept mum about the issue, she is yet to get out of the embarrassment Remi gave her at the party, we scooped.

Recall that Remi Surutu was conspicuously absent when others in their industry honoured Fathia at her 51st birthday party that held recently. She had accused Fathia of ill-sayings about her amongst her colleagues in the industry.

Speaking of her rift with Fahia a year ago in an interview, Surutu said “my fight with Fathia Williams started when I began hearing all manner of jargons, she was saying about me. I heard she’s been going about running me down in the presence of many of our colleagues and movie producers. She’s messing up big time and somebody needed to put her in a place where she belongs. This is the person I took in like a sister. We were very close when she joined the industry"
