PHOTOS: Dignitaries Celebrate With Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa And Wife At Their Daughter, Ewere’s Traditional Wedding

Dignitaries joined the Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and his wife, Dame Edith Okowa at their family home in Owa-Alero, Ika North East LGA over the weekend as they gave out the hands of one of their daughters, Maxine Ewere’s hand out in marriage. On Saturday, the Governor and his wife gave their blessings as Ewere had her traditional wedding with the love of her life, Dr. Daniel Igo. The groom's parents are from Benue State.

The colourful event had strong men of Niger Delta politics, as well as the creme of Delta society in attendance. On the list were the likes of former Governors Chief James Ibori and Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and his wife, Roli, Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Chief Ndudi Elumelu and Secretary to the State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah, Olorogun David Edevbie, amongst others.

Everyone is now looking forward to the main wedding ceremony comimg up in a few weeks time.
