Ade Kassim, a close pal of Dotun Lobito, was said to be in his 60s. News of his death has sent shockwaves across Lagosians who knew how these guys rocked the city in the 90s and 2000s. It is even more shocking that Ade Kassim passed on the day his friend was laid to rest.
The deceased still wrote a tribute that was published in the pamphlet used at his late friend's burial today, where he told him to 'wait for me at the gate of heaven'. "Good night my general, we been friends for about 45years not one day we don't talk, I will greatly miss you, wait for me at the gate of heaven see you on the other side your friend and brother forever".

Lobito, a famous showbiz promoter died on Thursday, July 7, four days to his birthday on July 11. Activities for LOBITO's burial started yesterday with a Service of Songs/Wake Keep held at the First Baptist Church, Broad Street, Lagos. And today, his remains were intered at the Ebony Vaults & Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Back in their days, the clique comprising these two friends and their other friends painted the town red and did well in their businesses. Like Lobito, Ade Kassim also contested for the office of the Chairman of Surulere Local Government around the same time in early 2000s.
