The beautiful tube icon, who has graced TV screens in Nigeria (NTA, AIT and others) for about 3 decades could not hide her emotions in a post she made to share the good news. She said..
"This is particularly emotional for me because I, Dami and her dad would not be here today but for God's grace! I was pregnant with her (20 years ago this month) when armed men invaded our home in Lagos and shot him point blank in my presence! The trauma was such that Dami and I nearly died at her birth(on medical ventilation for days) and she had issues as a result, but God has been faithful. This girl's 'eyes saw o', but her determination, resilience and God's grace saw her through. We are all here today hale and hearty to see our baby graduate in sterling, outstanding colours at 19 (due to covid lockdown induced delay). God, I do not take your special love for me for granted. I am eternally grateful for all you do and I give you ALL the glory. Thank you my Father, oba onise ara, oba alaanu, oba asoro ma ye! Please praise God with us."
