Society Matriach, Sisi Abah Folawiyo Hits 80 In Style Today

As you read this, a big celebration is ongoing in the palatial residence of the late Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, Alhaji Wahab Iyanda Folawiyo at Oyinkan Abayomi Drive, Ikoyi Lagos, as his widow and matriach of the family clocks 80. Sisi Abah Folawiyo, one of the pillars of Nigeria’s high society, joined the Octogenarian club today, July 22, 2022. Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, are already among dignitaries gracing the grand celebration being coordinated by Segun Awolowo, the celebrant's son and her league of big, close friends led by Sen. Ita Giwa.
Sisi Abah hit the limelight decades back, gracing the covers of popular newspapers and magazine with her delectable fashion style. She is one of the iconic names that headlined the Nigerian fashion industry back in the ‘70s and remained top of the game for decades. She has made a big mark with her upscale fashion outfit, Labenella, reputed for clothing high-networth individuals and top celebrities in and outside the country.

Her lifetime is characterized with a remarkable super socialite lifestyle, beautiful friendships, and indelible contributions to the world of fashion which earned her the reputation as a fashion icon to cheer.
