High Society Set For Another Big Celebration As Sen. Daisy Danjuma Hits 70 This Weekend

Its indeed a season of big society/celebrity birthdays. This weekend is already locked down for yet another big celebration of a 'Category A' personality. Sen. Daisy Ehanire Danjuma, prominent female politician, former Edo South Senator and one of the matriachs of the high society for decades, will be clocking 70 years old on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Many will be shocked that the wife of elder statesman, Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (former defense minister) is that old, simply because her looks belie her age in all ramifications. With her sustained beauty, elegance and class, Senator Daisy will make young ladies of middle age grow green with envy.
Already, activities to mark the milestone celebration have been meticulously set and the celebrant's family, friends and VIP guests already invited are counting down in hours. We scooped that it will be nothing short of a talk-of-the-town affair. The celebrant, with one of the best league of friends around, is known for hosting the classiest of parties over the years, and this will not be an exception.

Born in 1952 in Benin, Edo State, Daisy is one woman who is always elegantly turned out whenever she attends events. Though married to a billionaire and former Minister of Defence, Theophilus Danjuma, Daisy does not have airs around her. She is well-loved by many. She attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, where she bagged a degree in Law. She went on to work as an executive assistant at NAL Merchant Bank. Upon leaving NAL, she worked with Nigerian Television Authority as the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser
Ever-beautiful and brainny, Daisy is the Chairman of May and Baker Nigeria Plc. She has also served on the board of several companies. Between 1999 and 2003, she was the Chairman of South Atlantic Petroleum Limited. She is a member of the International Bar Association, the Nigerian Bar Association, and the International Federation of Women Lawyers.

An accomplished businesswoman and politician, Daisy represented the Edo South Senatorial District in the Senate between 2003 and 2007. She recontested the seat in 2011 but was unsuccessful, though that has in no way diminished her public profile, nor dampened her enthusiasm for helping the underprivileged in society.
