Diya Family Joined By Dignitaries, Well-Wishers, As Late No2 Man In Nigeria Is Laid To Rest [PHOTOS]

The late Chief of General Staff and military administrator of Ogun State, Lt Gen. Oladipo Diya, was given a colourful send-off in Ogun State yesterday at his hometown.

Days of burial activities for General Diya ended with the funeral service at the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul in the Odogbolu, Odogbolu Local Government Area (LGA) of Ogun State. The funeral was attended by former head of state, General Abdulsalam Abubakar (rtd.), the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, among others.

There was a massive outpouring of love for the wife, Mrs Josephine Diya and the family of the late former CGS who died on 26 March, at 78.
