Prominent Businesswoman, Alhaja Peju Muraina Bags Fellowship Award From Nigeria Institute Of Management

Alhaja Mrs Adepeju Muraina, popular businesswoman and  the CEO of Mauve 21 Centre Ibadan, Vellam Water, ABM Confectioners and others, has been conferred with a Fellowship Award by the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). She was one of the recipients of the prestigious honour done on well meaning Nigerians and Prominent Members of the Institute on Thursday 17th day August, 2023.
Receiving the honour was an emotional occasion for Alhaja Muraina, the widow Major-General Abdullahi Iyanda Muraina is (former Chief of Accounts and Budgets, Nigeria Army) who was President of the NIM until his death last September.
In her remarks after receiving the award, Alhaja Peju Muraina expressed joy at her efforts being recognized by the institute, saying it will rather serve as an impetus to do more- while also paying glowing tributes to the memory of her late husband. Recalling her long journey as a member of the institute, she was full of satisfaction to see it all crowned with the Fellowship Award.

One of the respected women in the field of business in Nigeria, Alhaja Muraina is stylish, kind, and compassionate. - although she is not the type that advertises her generosity publicly. She has touched the lives of many, over the years.
Former Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, Former Special Adviser to Former Lagos Governor Babatunde Fashola on Media, Hakeem Bello, National President, Campaign for Dignity in Governance, Razaq Olokoba are among the awardees. 
Speaking at the event, NIM President, Dr Christiana Atako said the institute’s process of upgrading members to Fellow had always been thorough which was why only those who are truly deserving of the award got honoured yearly. According to her, fellowship upgrade was not a destination or an end in itself but a call to higher responsibility and service to the institute, management profession and the nation.
