Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has appealed to President Nana Akufo-Addo to ensure the opening of the Bank Hospital in Accra for public use without further delay, saying that it is unfair to the Ghanaian tax payers that the hospital completed by the immediate-past Mahama administration, has remained unused.
The undue delay by the current administration to see the hospital begin operation has been dominating public discussions across the country lately.
In an evening post today, the multimillionaire and philanthropist said the Akufo-Addo administration should not play politics with the opening of the hospital just because it was built by President Mahama. He said if opened for use, the facility will reduce the pressure on the Ridge and Korle Bu hospitals in Accra. Read his post below..
'Please OpenThe Bank Hospital To The Public Now! This Is Not Fair To Ghanaian Tax Payers. Please Let's Prioritize Love For Country Above Politics. It Doesn't Matter The Hospital Was Built By Prez John Mahama. It Is Ghana's Property.
This Hospital Was Completed 3 Years Ago. Let's Make The Right Decision For Our People. Open It Immediately To Benefit The Public, And It Will Reduce Pressure On The Ridge Hospital And Korle Bu Hospital.
Please, President Akufo-Addo, Let It Happen. It Doesn't Require Official Commissioning. Most Ghanaians Need Urgent Healthcare. Please, For God's Sake'.
