Sad: Akufo-Addo, Jean Mensa; 2 Lawyers Turning Election In Ghana Into Power-Grabbing And Money-Making Machine -HRH Oscar Doe

Frontline businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has once again expressed his disappointment in President Akufo-Addo and Jean Mensa; 2 learned lawyers, who according to him, have failed to build consensus among the important political key players and civil society (organisations), including Chiefs in Ghana. He also accused them of turning election, a simple civic duty into power-grabbing and money-making tool. He wondered why these two individuals, with good knowlegde of law and exposure have dissapointed their country by their inability to put together flawless elections, built on consensus.

In his latest public post, the Doscar Group Holdings chairman however, sent a strong warning to anyone manipulating elections now, reminding them that they can get away with their actions now, but they will come back to haunt them and their families tomorrow. We Need Law To Stop Govt Appointees From Using State Powers To Suppress Innocent Ghanaians - HRH Doe Urges Parliament

To have a society of responsible human beings, whereby no one can use their political position or privileges in deny, hurt, undermie, or manipulate against any Ghanaian based on his or her political affiliation, religious beliefs, ethnic background, or physically challenges, there is an urgent need for the Ghana Parliament to enact a new, strong law to this effect. This was the submission of HRH, Oscar Yao Doe, the reputable Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings.

He frowned at how politicians and political appointees now use state institutions and power to destroy, undermine, sabotage, blackmail, drag down people they perceive as enemies, for reasons that are not just.

In a public post today, he cited the instance of how few years ago, President Akufo Addo and Vice President Bawumia were going round, begging business owners for money and how after assuming office, they went on a rampage to damage, destroy those businesses they, their party, and their families have been collecting money from, including himself. Read the full post below...

"A country where beggars can become illusionary powerful in fiction:

We need as a MATTER of URGENCY, to enact a law in Ghana Parliament which shall prohibit any, or every government institution, government qppointee, and elected officials from using state institutions and power to destroy, or undermine, sabotage, blackmail, drag down anyone; or to exclude, disadvantage (any citizen) in competitive bidding for government contracts, employments, and benefits to the poor, the needy, or disabled.

The law Should be "EXPLICITLY" NON-NEGOTIABLE, so that whoever is found culpable OF (running against) that law shall face minimum of 5 years in jail for low level appointees, and up to 10 years in jail for high profile appointees.

These (kind of) laws could help us act as responsible human beings, whereby no one can use their political position or privileges in denying, or to hurt, or to withhold, or to undermine, or manipulate against any Ghanaian in the future based on their political affiliation, or religious beliefs, ethnic background, or physical challenges.

Few years ago, President Akufo Addo and Vice President Bawumia were going round begging business owners for money and after assuming office they went on a rampage to damage, destroy those businesses they, their party, and their families have been collecting money from, including myself, His Royal Highness Oscar Yao Doe.

This NONSENSE must stop immediately, to pave way for a prosperous society for our youth and upcoming generations.

It's a MUST, (and an) urgently needed law to prevent certain individuals from hiding under state powers to hurt well-accomplished people in our society.

It will help us to become a society where people can speak out what is in their minds without fear or favour."

Martin Amidu: Most Ghanaians Have Lost Faith In The Special Prosecutor Office, And I Agree With Them - HRH Doe

HRH Oscar Yao Doe, the Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings has said he shares same school of thought with most Ghanaians that the Special Prosecutor's Office has become redundant, and irrelevant because it has lost public confidence, and that it should be abolished immediately to protect public purse.

In a public post today, the renowned businessman could not hide his displeasure over the dissapointment expressed by Ghanaians about the failure of Honourable Martin A.B.K Amidu appointed as Special Prosecutor by President Akufo-Addo 2 years ago. According to him, Ghanaians have been shocked by the SP's silence on many corrupt activities going on in the current administration, against the trust and hope reposed in him by them upon his appointment in 2018. He asked if the Special Prosecutor's Office is worth the tax payers' funding after all. Read his full post below..

Once upon a time, 11th January 2018 (to be precise), Ghanaians were in a jubilant mood. The excitement could be felt across the country, because (most people thought) it was a good news.

The good news was that the self-proclaimed citizen vigilante, Honourable Martin A.B.K Amidu had been appointed the long-awaited Special Prosecutor.

(But the question now is) is it worth the tax payers'funding? What was the main aim of creating the Special Prosecutor's office? Is it to score political points? Or using the office to please every seating or future President, to carry out their personal political witch-hunts of investigations?

Or (is it) to protect the public purse? Which is which?

We should be careful not to set a dangerous precedent which could become catastrophic for our justice system.

Has Martin Amidu performed well? Has he been truthful, fair and honest in the discharge of his duty?

After 2 years in office, Ghanaians are surprised about the SP's silence on many corrupt activities going on in the 'opens' with government machineries and it appointees.

Most people are saying the Special Prosecutor's Office has become 'redundant' and 'no more relevant', because it has lost public confidence, and that it should be abolished immediately to protect public purse. Most Ghanaians no longer have faith in the Special Prosecutor's Office.

I personally agree totally with this overwhelming Public sentiment. I do.

What Sin Has Volta Region Committed Against Akufo-Addo? HRH Oscar Doe Decries Shutdown Of 8 Radio Stations

International busineman and Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has decried the recent clampdown (by the Akufo-Addo administration) on radio stations in the Volta region, which has seen more than 8 FM stations shut down. The reputable businessman specifically called out at the communications minister, Ursula Owusu for supervising such assault on freedom of expression in the country. He described her as 'a big disgrace to Ghana's democracy', in his public post today. Read the post in full below..

Why Volta Region?
More Than 8 Radio stations have been closed down in Volta region recently, namely;Tongu Radio, Hogbe Radio, Sekpele Radio, Radio Kpando, Dayi FM, Akpini FM, Light FM, Abacc FM etc.

Communications minister, Ursula Owusu is a big disgrace to Ghana's democracy! It is only freedom of expression and rule of law that can create a prosperous societies like the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Europe, Brazil, Argentina , Mexico, India, New Zealand, Etc.

So where is the Akufo Addo's 'Champion of Democracy' mantra? Scam! Where is (his) credentials as 'Protector of (the) Rule of Law? Missing! Scam!

Are we now in (an) authoritarian regime? Are we heading towards a Venezuelan kind of Government? Probably.

Do we think silencing (the) media and suppression of fair justice is in anyone's interest? No, it's not! It is Bad for Ghana's ability to be prosperous.

Based on his own deeds and actions, President Akufo-Addo is acting against 'Public Trust', hurting 'Public Confidence' (and he is) no longer trustworthy! Akufo Addo has become dangerously incompetent!

Volta Region was taken out of the 2020 road construction budget and now, a massive crackdown on radio stations in (going on in) the region! What sin has the Volta region committed? Why Volta Region? Sad moment for Ghana.

Are They Now Poor Also? HRH Doe Carpets Govt Appointees For Hijacking Scholarship Meant For Poor Students

Why would serving appointees of government who are already enjoying free Land Cruisers, free fuel, free accommodation, free traveling allowances, and many other free things still drag scholarships to study abroad with indigent students who they are meant to take care of in the first place? This is a big question renowned businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe is asking after reports revealed that names of some high ranking appointees of President Nana Akufo-Addo are on the list of beneficiaries of public scholarships. The Doscar Group Holdings Chairman (in a public post today) could not hide his anger at these public officials who he said lack compassion for the poor and the vulnerable in the society. Read if post below...

So who has infected (President) Akufo Addo's appointees with such greed and wickedness? Can you imagine scholarship meant for the poor, needy but bright students to study abroad has been hijacked by appointees of the NPP administration who are already enjoying free Land Cruisers (including maintenance), free fuel, free accommodation, free traveling allowances, (and) many other free stuffs?

Now, the question (is) what (else) do they want in life? (They have) no contentment, no compassion for the poor and the vulnerable in our society, who have no one to protect them.

President Akufo Addo said recently in Parliament that Ghana is now in 'competent hands'. Competent hands (really)? Where? (These are) jokers who deserve to be in jail for their actions!

Notoble amoung the appointees who have unleashed such evil act on the poor are: Education Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh; Procurement Minister, Adwoa Safo; Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta; and Executive Secretary of NaCCA, Dr Prince Armah.

Why? So, what else is corruption? This is beyond criminal act! Can you imagine something meant for the poor and the needy has been hijacked by the same people who are supposed to supervise it? Oh, Mother Ghana.

Are President Akufo Addo's Appointees now poor and needy? Time will tell.

Same Old Stories: HRH Doe Poo-Poos Prez Akufo-Addo State Of The Nation Address

- Says Prez has lost public trust & confidence already
.. has failed to unite the nation
.. has nothing new to offer Ghanaians
.. will be rejected by Ghanaians on Dec. 7

Renowned businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has 'poopooed' the state of the nation address delivered by President Nana Akufo-Addo to a Parliament shunned by minority members today. In a public post, the Doscar Group Holdings Chairman said the president only repeated same old stories and failed to address any of the pressing issues Ghanaians have been asking questions about. He said the president has lost public trust and confidence already, and that Ghanaians will reject him at the polls come December 7 this year.

Read his full post below...

I, His Royal Highness, The Most Colourful Oscar Yao Doe responds to President Akufo-Addo's State of the Nation address (delivered today):

(My) Observations: (Its) same old story. Akufo-Add failed to apologise to Ghanaians about the stolen gold and excavators, which were shared among his appointees. Those appointees implicated are still at post and are now known as 'Official Thieves' (sic). He has nothing new to offer Ghanaians! Talking is not in the same level as actions and deeds.

(My) Verdict: Now, I have come to the conclusion (that) the galamsey banned (by this government) was not sincere. It was (just) a mere gimmick to bully ordinary Ghanaians and steal their belonging, and then share among government appointees, including NPP officials. End of story!

Time will vindicate the sweat of our rural folks who (have) survived on small scale mining for over 50 years.

I support the minority boycott (of the State of the nation address) because Prez. Akufo Addo has failed to unite the nation. All his actions (have been) selective justice and that is not good enough. It cannot be time-enduring.

(Final) Remarks: Based on his own deeds and actions, Akufo-Addo has acted against "Public Trust". He has hurt public confidence and therefore, (he is) no longer trustworthy.

Ghanaians shall surely reject him come 7th December, 2020.

Long Live Ghana

Misplaced Priority: Akufo-Addo Govt Cannot Take Ghanaians Out Of Abject Hardship, But Can Afford To Spend GH¢477m Counting Them - HRH Doe

Frontline businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has expressed suprise yet again, about misplaced priorities by the current administration in Ghana. His latest grouse with the administration is about the news that the ministry of finance has approved a budget of GH¢477 million for the 2020 national census to be conducted by the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS). HRH Doe questioned why a responsible government would want to spend such a whoping sum on census, considering the hardship and pain Ghanaians have been going through, which require urgent attention and spending.

Read his post this evening on social media over the issue below..

So, Ghana Has A Lot Of Money Stockpiled Somewhere And Our Youth Are Subjected To Abject Hardship And Pain.

Those Moneys Come Out Only When Needed For (Things Like) New Voters Register, Census, President Akufo-Addo's Private Jet Rentals, His Hotel Bills Abroad, Investigations, Intimidation Of The Ghanaian People Who Voted Them, Payments For Auditing By KROLL, KPMG, Price Waterhouse, Creation Of Security Task Force To Intimidate Galamseyers, Etc.

Are We Really A Serious Nation?

Meanwhile, We Cannot Find Money To Build The Needed School Blocks To End Double-Track System In Our Senior High Schools (SHS). Many School Blocks Built By The Mahama Administration, Especially The E-Blocks (SHS) Have Been Abandoned By The Akufo-Addo Administration Because They Thought If The Students Use It, Credits Will Go To Mahama. So, The Mahama School Blocks Are Standing There, Empty, Without Occupancy.

Can You Imagine All These Happening Under Those Who Claimed To Be Well-Educated And Very Competent. (They Are Now The Ones) Allowing State Resources To Go Waste, Just Like That.

I Think Something Is Wrong With The Mindset Of President Akufo-Addo And His Cousins!

Appointment Of Martin Amidu As Special Prosecutor Is The Biggest Deception Of The Akufo-Addo Presidency - HRM Oscar Doe

HRH Oscar Yao Doe has said that the appointment of Mr Martin Amidu as Special Prosecutor is the biggest deception by the Akufo-Addo administration so far. According to the renowned businessman, this conclusion was confirmed by the actions of the Special Prosecutor Office since he took office.

KingOscar wondered why despite verifiable corruption activities going on publicly in the Akufo-Addo government, the Special Prosecutor Office has not prosecuted anyone. He questioned the capability of Amidu as Special Prosecutor.

Read his public statement below..

#HRHOSCARYAODOE EXCLUSIVE: Based on his own actions, I have now come to the conclusion that President Akufo-Addo's deceptions and lies are beyond comprehension. But the biggest of all the deceptions of the Akufo-Addo Presidency is the appointment of Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor!

There are a lot of plain and verifiable corruption activities going on publicly in the Akufo-Addo government, but (there has been) 'No Show' from the much hyped Special Prosecutor Office. Who (even) knows maybe something is going on?

That Office is no more effective! Perhaps (its) dead and gone! Who knows? (Maybe) it should be taken out of taxpayers' burden.

The Special Prosecutor's Office should be an elected public position. (Possibly) that could make a huge difference. It is also possible (that) Mr Amidu is facing genuine constraints or perhaps, (he is) not capable! Which is which?

Nonetheless, the Special Prosecutor is obviously not special at all, based on his own deeds and actions since he was appointed. There is nothing special about the Special Prosecutor's Office, based on facts.

$25m Overpaid By Akufo-Addo Govt On Ambulances Could Have Built Over 500 Blocks Of Classrooms For SHS - HRH Oscar Doe

Reputable businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has said that President Akufo-Addo is fast disstancing himself from public trust, after facts emerged that the 307 ambulances recently acquired by his government were highly overpriced. Earlier today, the Doscar Group Holdings chairman had revealed that the ambulances were overpaid for to the tune of $25m, according to current global prices. In a follow up post, he said Ghana's public purse is under attack, wondering if the country does not having any genuine person to protect her interest?

He said the excess funds paid on the acquisition of the ambulances could have been channeled towards the construction of about 500 blocks of Classrooms across the country. Read the full post below...

(Is) Ghana's public purse under attack? Can you imagine that a brand new, well-equipped Mercedes Sprinter Van Ambulance is available online on alibaba.com for $51,000. So, why do you spend a whopping $133,000 to buy the same Item? Alibaba.com is a global online retail giant owned by famous billionaire, Jack Ma.

My suggestion to our political leaders: Next time, you should comb the market very well to compare prices before you commit taxpayers' money into such transactions.

Something is not adding up! Interesting times for Mother Ghana under the watch of President Akufo-Addo Addo's leadership that claims to be the so-called "competent and non-corrupt".

So now, who is protecting the public purse? Is Ghana not having any genuine person to protect her interest?

One ambulance, with an open market value cost per unit is $51,000 × 307 = $15,657,000. And the same ambulances purchased miraculously from heaven by our leaders cost $133,000. Compared, the difference is $82,000 × 307= $25,174,000.

Is something wrong with us? Do we really care about Ghana?

$133,000 × 307 = $40,831,000. We could have saved a total difference Of $25,174,000, equivalent to GHS143,491,800 million, which can build 573 units of classroom blocks for Senior Secondary Schools (SHS) at a cost of GHS250,000 per block. Or let's assume tht even if each block cost GHS500,000, it can still build 286 units of classroom block, that would reduce the pain children and parents are going through on the double-track system challenges.

President Akufo-Addo keeps distancing himself from "Trust", through his actions and deeds.

307 Ambulances: Govt Could Have Saved GHS143m Of Innocent Taxpayers Money - HRH Oscar Doe

Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, Oscar Yao Doe has suggested to the Akufo-Addo administration to factor innocent Ghanaian taxpayers into consideration while expending their money on projects. He particularly pointed out the wide difference in the amount spent by the government to acquire 307 ambulances, as compared to prevalent global market prices. A comparison by the multimillionaire of the price of one ambulance (using the current price on Alibaba.com) against the cost announced by the government, shows a big difference of about $25m (GHS143m). "This whoping amount could have been expended on other projects that will benefit Ghanaians, if the government had done well to protect the public purse", he said.

Read his post below..

#HRHOscarYaoDoe's Exclusive Breaking News:

My Suggestion To Our Political Leaders: Next Time, Comb The Market Very Well To Compare Prices Before You Commit Taxpayers' Money Into A Transaction!

A Brand New Well -Equipped Mercedes Sprinter Van Ambulance Is Available Online At Alibaba.Com For $51,000.

Please, Next Time Do Your Best To Protect The Public Purse, Do Not Use $133,000 To Purchase An Item That Is Available Online For $51,000.

$51,000 × 307 = $15,657,000. $133,000 × 307 $40,831,000.

We Could Have Saved $25,174,000, An Equivalent Of Ghs 143,491,800 TO Build More School Blocks To End The (Present) Double-Track System.

This Advice Is Based On Love For Country.

Airbus Saga: Resist Abuse Of Power, Political Witchunt - HRH Oscar Doe Writes Open Letter To Parliament

HRH Oscar Yao Doe has written an open letter to the Ghana Parliament over the Airbus bribery allegation saga currently rocking the country, admonishing MPs to do the needful by stopping politicians from taking advantage of the situation. He said they must set the precedent of guiding against abuse of power through the use of the Special Prosecutor's office.

Read the letter in full below..

Open Letter to Ghana's Parliament:
Attention: Majority and Minority Leaders!

Question 1: What does the law say in the Special Prosecutor Bill? Does the law allow any seating President (both now and in the future) to use his or her office to ask the Special Prosecutor Office to announce an Investigation against his or her political opponent?

Question 2: If it is permitted by the law creating the Special Prosecutor Bill to allow a seating or a future president to ask for an investigation against any political opponent, then that's okay. At least, we can adjust and live with it till the end of time, knowing that any future president can use the Special Prosecutor Office to smear his or her political opponent.

Question 3: If it is prohibited in the law; (and reality is) that a seating or future President cannot influence an investigation against any political opponents using the Special Prosecutor Office, what (then) is the remedy and the consequence if or when that occurr? Do we have any law in that bill or any law (at all) in Parliament that deals with that kind of situation in regards to abuse of power?

Question 4: Elsewhere, such an abuse by any Executive President is an impeachable offence and constitutes an (offense enough for) removal from office. (Going by) a lot of speculations going on about the Airbus saga, can't the Parliament invite or summon the Special Prosecutor, Hon. Martin Amidu to clarify?

Conclusion: Investigation of bribery must not be seen as pure witch-hunt or a mere smear campaign against anyone. Because that in itself, is more dangerous for our future political discourse, which could damage the credibility and the image of the Special Prosecutor Office. Politicians always take advantage of situation. Therefore, it's in our collective interest to set the best precedent to guide against abuse of power.

Akufo-Addo Is No Longer Trustworthy - HRH Oscar Doe Blasts Prez For Planning Fanfare For Distribution Of Ambulance After 7 Months

Renowned businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has lashed President Nana Akufo-Addo for planning a fanfare to distribute ambulances acquired by government since July last year. The president is to officially distribute one ambulance each to one constituency across the country at an elaborate event scheduled to hold at the Independence Square in Accra tomorrow. However, the Doscar Group Holdings Chairman is questioning the sense behind the president keeping the ambulances somewhere for 7 months just because he wants to use their distribution for campaign for Election2020. He described the development as petty-mindedness. Read his full post below...

A leader without compassion is not worth trusting! A leader without character cannot be trusted! A leader without good temperament cannot be trusted! A kind heart is better than gold! Caring heals faster than medication! Sincerity is precious compared to deception! Trust is a virtue that cannot be overtaken!

(To) The petty-minded leaders of our generation, my prayer is that the youth and upcoming generation will chart a different path to prosperity.

What sense does it make for President Akufo-Addo to hold onto hostage, ambulances badly needed, for 7 months from july 2019 till election year 2020 before they can be distributed to win an election? Can Akufo-Addo be trusted as a genuine leader??? (The answer is a) big NO!

What's the main purpose of bringing in the ambulances? Is it to assist in emergency healthcare delivery? or just to win an election? How many lives could have been saved if those Ambulances were delivered earlier? So is this the (reasoning of our so-called) learned and well-polished leaders? So is that all we were made to believe in 2016? If this is what competence looks like, then I am going to vote for someone who is rather Incompetent!

Akufo-Addo is not trustworthy anymore!

I have lived my entire life in giving kindness, compassion, love, generosity, caring, goodness, respect, uplifting people, encouraging people, contributing to people's welfare, I did all this with Absolute pleasure and unconditionally, because that's what God requires of us,,, I lived a Larger than life for the goodness of mankind,,, I have never asked or demanded to know the political affiliation of any of the over 200 people I Supported to UNIVERSITY in GHANA. I have also not added political affiliation as a requirement for enrollment in my schools. I lead by example.

I haven't done so because I care only about their success which can translate into prosperity for GHANA " end of story "

So therefore if distributing of an Ambulances bought with taxpayers money should cost additional money to hold a mere fanfare before it's distributed then the leader in Question is not big enough in his mind! The Ambulances in question has already been held up since july 2019. What kind of leader is this? Akufo Addo is too distance to be "TRUSTED"

Is this the so called competent Dr Bawumia was bragging  about in 2015/2016? Big NO.

Sad moment for GHANA..

Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has expressed solidarity for Mr. Kofi Amoaben, CEO of UT Holdings, who was yesterday arrested and charged for prosecution over alleged complicity in activities that led to the collapse of UT Bank. KingOscar said the arrest and prosecution doesn't mean a judgment of guilt, and encouraged Amoaben to see it as a B
