National ID Authority, EC Have Joined List Of Least-Trusted Public Institutions In Ghana -HRH Oscar Doe

For going ahead with identification and voter registration excercises not supported by majority of Ghanaians, renowned businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has said that the National Identification Authority (NIA) and the Electoral Commission (EC) now belong to the category of least-trusted' public institutions in Ghana like the Attorney-General Department and the Special Prosecutor's Office. He said Ghanaians are dissapointed in the actions of the heads of these two organizations, Professor Ken Attafuah and Jean Mensa, who were hitherto trusted to do the right things.

According to him in a public post this morning, the public trust levels of these individuals and the organizations they head, have been reduced to zero. Read his post in full below..
Breaking Development:  Despite overwhelming public rebuke, overwhelming outcry and dissatisfaction from civil society, the National Identification Authority (NIA) and the Eectoral Commission (EC) have (now) joined the Attorney-General Department and the Special Prosecutor's Office (on the list of) the 'least-trusted' public institutions in Ghana. Their trust level has reduced to ZERO, based on their deeds and actions. Sad Moment For Ghana!

Of particular (dissapointment) is the actions of the EC Chair, Jean Mensa who has failed the basic test of building a consensus among stakeholders on how to proceed on the voter registration (exercise).

Also (very dissapointing) is the action of Professor Ken Attafuah, who used to comment over the years, regularly on Joy FM against some of the things he himself is championing currently.

(They are all a) double-standard, dishonest group of empty-headed, needy, and greedy degree holders invading the government space, enjoying government freebies of Land Cruisers with free maintenance, free accommodation, free fuel, free medical and traveling allowances.

(They are) the DO-NOTHING COMMITTEES.
