Prominent Lagos traditional ruler, The Ojora of Lagos, HRM, Oba Fatai Aremu Aromire Ojora has married a new wife today. The rich and respected king performed the conjugal rights to bring a new queen into his Palace at a private but colorful ceremony held in Lagos. The news of the monarch's new wedding is coming as a surprise to many as he is one of the few traditional rulers in Lagos with one wife, which he was always proud to talk about.

The monarch had granted interviews where he gave reasons why he sent his other women away to become a one-wife man.

He was usually always out and about with his pretty wife who has also made the cover of many magazines.

When asked two years ago in an interview with a national newspaper about kings usually having many wives and why his case is different, the 67 year old king said "what you need to know is that I once had about three wives and I learnt some lessons from that. I think that was because I was trying to follow the norm. But then, I woke up to my senses and said to myself, I have to live my own life, rather than copying what others do".
