How Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu (Kuye) Celebrated Ojude Oba 2021 In Grand Style

Recently, popular ijebu age grade group, Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu (kuye) celebrated Ojude Oba 2021 in a fun way. One of the successful age groups among the Ijebu regberegbes. the group (whose  members are born between 1977 to 1979) is under the leadership of Giwa Alhaji Surajudeen Lasisi. The event was a white and green affair, with members rocking white agbada, and green abeti aja styled caps, as well as green suede shoes.

The Ojude Oba 2021 planning committee had as its Chairman, Yori Babalaje Omoba Gbadebo Adebisi Alatishe. Other members of the committee are Yori Bashorun Oludaisi Yusuf, Vice Chairman, Yori Adebowale Abdul, Coordinator I, Yori Opeyemi Idris, Coordinator II, Yori Akilo Akeem Temitope, Secretary. The team did so well to ensure everything went well.

Members of the group flew in from the UK, USA and Canada to grace the colourful event. The event started by 5pm at Rontex Hall, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. And the X1 De Future, Yori Ganiu Ayinde, (who sings in K1's style) thrilled guests with lovely music.

The popular age grade group has over 70 members based home and abroad. Prominent members include Giwa Egbe, Alhaji Suraju Lasisi, Otun Giwa Egbe, Yori Ayodeji Kuku, Eta Giwa Egbe, Yori Salami Odunlami and more than 20 Oloyes; to mention few, Yori Hon. Muyiwa Aserinkan, Yori Prince Olusheye Adebowale, Yori Sesan Otukoya, Yori Com. Akeem Akilo, and Yori Saheed Kafaru.

Hon. Ademorin Kuye, a Member Federal House of Representatives the Baba Egbe of the group, while Chief (Mrs) Morohunkeji Atoyegbe, CEO Glory Store Fabrics, the Iya Egbe. A.C.G. (Alhaji) Kufuli Rasaki Olusesan is the Akeweje  Okunrin, while the Akeweje Obinrin is Alhaja Suliat Kasumu Malo.  The Adviser (Okunrin) is Hon. Adetunji Atunrashe and Adviser (Obinrin) is Otunba (Mrs) Onikepo Atewologun. See photos from the event below.
