James Ibori Drags Dangote, Otedola, Elumelu, Others To 40th Birthday Soiree Of His Latest Sweetheart, Senami

She holds the key to his heart right now. That's the woman of his life. Former Delta State Governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori and Senami, his beautiful, young wife have become one of the new hottest items on the social scene. The 63 year old strongman of Delta politics and Senami were already a hot item before he ran into international money laundering trouble in 2010, which subsequently led to his imprisonment in the UK. Things went blank after that, with confirmation also that Ibori's marriage to Theresa Nkoyo Ibori (who was Delta state First Lady between 1999-2003 when Ibori was Governor). had broken down. Theresa had stayed back In London after the money laundering saga in which she was also prosecuted. She confirmed her separation from James Ibori during the proceedings in a London court, alleging that the former Governor was involved with some other women.
Meanwhile, during those difficult times, Senami, we scooped, did not neglect Ibori. Rather than turning her back, she weathered the storm with her lover. She took a long hiatus from the social scene and kept a low profile for years..
On Ibori's return to Nigeria, after his prosecution in the UK, it was straight into the waiting embrace of his love. He went all out in displaying to anyone that cares to know that it's now all about Senami. They took their romance to the next level and Ibori later tied the knot with her 2017. They have been stepping out together at major public functions since then.
Last Sunday (January 16), Ibori hosted the crème of Nigeria social establishment to a lavish soiree in honour of his exquisite wife who clocked 40. The classy party held inside Ibori’s Ikoyi, Lagos palatial mansion with many of the host’s close friends in the social and political circles present. Big names that joined Ibori in celebrating his Lady include Aliko Dangote; Edo Governor, Godwin Obaseki; ex-Edo Governor, Lucky Igbinedion; Otunba Niyi Adebayo; Tony Elumelu, Dr. Bukola Saraki; Mr. Femi Otedola, Aremo Segun Oniru; Segun Awolowo and Prince Nduka Obaigbena. Gists about the party are still on the lips of those in attendance.
On the day, Ibori shared a beautiful picture of Senami on his official Instagram page with a simple, coded caption: “Happy 40th MG”.
