Remembering Ajimobi 2 Years After.. Family Holds Remembrance/Fidau Prayers In Ibadan (PHOTOS)

Family members, friends and political gathered again yesterday in Ibadan for another round of remembrance/fidau prayers for the former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi. Popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muhyideen Ajani Bello led other clerics at the session, just as he did last year at the one year remembrance. Ajimobi's widow, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi was in charge. 

Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the immediate-past,  two-term Governor of Oyo State died on June 25, 2020 at a Lagos hospital following reported complications arising from Covid-19 infection, at the age of 70 years.

The Fidau prayer yesterday took place at the late vocal politician's Oluyole Estate residence, in Ibadan and had dignitaries from within and outside the state in attendance. See photos below..
