Folawe started Condoleezza Events in 2004. The graduate of sociology from the University of Abuja stamped her feet so well on the job with her creativity and resilience; and becoame a household name in the Event Decor business before a decade. Since then, she is always on the path to up the ante.
Over the years, she has handled a lot of A-List events across the country. She has handled the weddings of not less than three former presidents of Nigeria.
Interestingly, she is not the type so given to publicity. Hardly will you see her face here and there despite the fact that she is behind many functions and events. Speaking in an interview with City People magazine a few years back, Folawe said she didn't even dream of becoming a professional event planner, but by the time the reality of the calling was done on her, she wast neck-deep into it.
"I didn’t know I will be an Event planner eventually. After my university, I started with making gift boxes, Aso Ebi and later I did ushering. Then, at a point I started seeing that all of these are event planning so I went into logistics and did several courses in and outside Nigeria. So I started event planning officially in 2004", she said.
She is a complete package. Stylish, creative, pretty and classy; that's how to describe Folawe without flattering her. And all these unique qualities have rubbed off positively on her successful career so far - basically, her Unique Selling Points. "Naturally I have a flair and passion for playing with colours. Not only at events but on interiors too. I pay much attention to details and criticize constructively and I know it can always get better", she said in that interview.
