Why The Indimi Twin Sisters, Zahra And Ameena Abhor President Buhari's Govt, Family Despite Being Their In-Laws

For twin-sisters, Ameen and Zahra, Indimi, daughters of the Borno billionaire and Chairman of Oriental Energy, Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi love doesn't conquer all things seems to be the message -if their apparent loathe for the family of President Buhari's family despite that their brother is married to Buhari’s daughter, is anything to go by. The Indimi twins, famous on social media, (especially Zahra) have been criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari and cursing his administration in some instances, for its failure and bringing hardships on Nigerians. They have been doing this openly despite that their elder brother is a son-in-law to the President as the husband of Zahra Buhari. By check, the twins haven't just become anti-Buhari lately. They have had an axe to grind with the President's family since about six years.

The first sore point between the Indimi girls and the Buhari family was in 2016 when the twins and their elder sister, (an ex-wife of Mohammed Babangida) Rahama had a clash with members of the Buhari family (including the First Lady) during the wedding of their brother, Ahmed and Zahra, the president's daughter.

They reportedly caused a scene during the introduction/ lefe ceremony. That issue resulted in the ladies being barred from attending the Friday, December 16, 2016 wedding of their brother inside the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock. During the brouhaha, the Indimi girls were said to have said unprintable things about the Buhari family.

Since then, love had been lost between the Indimi sisters and their brother's wife, Zahra (who ironically shares names with one of the twins) and her family by extension.

The brazen posts by the Indimi twins are said to have been received by the first family as an embarrassment and has become a source of worry to observers of events. Opinions however have been divided among those following the situation. While some praise the Indimi girls, particularly Zahra, for being brave to speak the truth about the ineptitude of the Buhari government, others blame her and her sister for hiding under personal family differences to hurl harsh attacks on the Buharis.

Some people even tieing the Indimi girls' beef with the Buhari family to the present predicament of their dad who is facing a case of mounting unpaid debt portfolio, which has led to the freezing of the account of the family’s cash cow, Oriental Energy Resources.
