The tempo was then taken to another level on Saturday at the grand finale of his royal birthday celebration in Lagos. And right beside the monarch all through, is his adorable queen, Olori Olusola Adedoyin- Alao, his inseparable wife. Their’s is a fairytale love story, they even share same name, ‘Olusola’.
Oba Francis Alao was crowned in 2017 at the age of 54. His reign in the past six years have seen some groundbreaking blessings to his household and achievements to his land and subjects. One of the biggest moments was when the monarch and his wife; Olori Olusola welcomed their twins (boys) in May 2021. Olori Olusola Adedoyin-Alao gave birth to the princes at Shady Grove Medical Centre, Maryland USA.
It was a watershed moment as the queen was delivered of the bundles of joy at 59. (Olori Olusola’s amazing story is for another day). The royal twins are growing so well and have become the toast of many. Olori Olusola is a daughter of one of Nigeria’s biggest industrialists and billionaire, Prince Samuel Adedoyin of Doyin Group.
The pedigree of the monarch was clearly on parade at his colourful 60th birthday soirée on Saturday, with the retinue of first class traditional rulers, captains of industry, political juggernauts and socialites that attended. Fuji music czar, K1 De Ultimate was on the band stand, while the biggest names in the events industry were contracted for the grand party. Influential friends and allies of Prince Adedoyin, the monarch’s father-in-law also identified with one of their own as they graced the occasion in good numbers. Big society women were in attendance for Olori Olusola.
