Senator Ede Dafinone Steps Into Late Dad’s Shoes 40yrs After

David Omueya Dafinone OFR) was a foremost accountant and politician, who was the Senator for old Bendel South during the second republic (1979-1983). He was a member of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN). The renowned global son of Urhoboland died on September 30, 2018 at the old age of 91. He was the leading member of the Dafinone family, an accounting family listed in the Guinness book of records as having the largest number of accountants in one family.
His son, Ede has now taken the baton over 40 years after - becoming the Senator representing his dad’s old constituency, now Delta Central senatorial district. He is a member the All Progressives Congress (APC)
After the election in February, the soft-spoken Senator Ede Dafinone paid a special visit to his late dad’s graveside to appreciate him on the accomplishment of his ambition Last weekend, he had a classy party in Warri to celebrate his inauguration into the National Assembly.
Sen. Ede is believed to enjoy a massive support from his kinsmen who repose much confidence in his abilities and the pedigree of the Dafinone dynasty.
