In a chat with CityScoop about the church, Genesis said.. "Its about the youth; about giving encouragement to them on how to do well in their businesses and how to keep their spiritual lives in check. A lot needs to be done to discourage youths away from all the terrible things we see and hear about everyday; rituals and all that. It is highly imperative to encourage and guide the next generation of Nigerians to take over the leadership of the country. And that is what we aim at achieving by setting up this kind of ministry that fits the purpose".
"It is an interdenominational church. You don't have to attend in your white garment or pull your shoes before you enter the service. It does not even matter if you belong to another faith. God is not a God of one religion. We gather every Sunday evening to prepare ourselves for Monday and a productive week. It is a coming together of churches and Ministries that share common kingdom goals".
"Genesis Global is a transformational church, that's why we keep evolving with ideas that are in tune with modern day realities as regards God's purpose for us on earth. Despite all the challenges and attacks we have faced, we are still growing and expanding. So, we have an Ikeja branch now, but not the regular church. The service holds between 4-8pm every Sunday, featuring ministrations in words and music, prophesy, business support/advice and more".
The inaugural service of Genesis Global Ikeja held on Sunday, June 12 and since then, the Agidingbi road, Ikeja where the church is located is always packed with multitude of faithfuls attending the service on Sunday evenings.
