YPP Unveils Olamide Agbomeji Ojo-Phillips As Deputy Governorship Candidate In Oyo

The Young Progressives Party, YPP, in Oyo State has unveiled Olamide Agbomeji Ojo-Phillips popularly known as SAPHYR as its Deputy Governorship candidate. Olamide, a Pharmacist, was unveiled by the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Ogunniyi Mathew, at the party’s campaign office in Ibadan on Sunday.

Speaking during the event, Ogunniyi described her as the most qualified person for the office. “She is someone with a strong passion for the growth and empowerment of youths,” the guber candidate said.

“From the event to the entertainment sector, she is always there to support every young person. She will be running with me.”

In her acceptance speech, Olamide thanked the party’s leadership for trusting her to be the gubernatorial running mate. She explained that with the support of young people, who represent the majority of residents in the state, the party’s victory is assured.
