Are They Now Poor Also? HRH Doe Carpets Govt Appointees For Hijacking Scholarship Meant For Poor Students

Why would serving appointees of government who are already enjoying free Land Cruisers, free fuel, free accommodation, free traveling allowances, and many other free things still drag scholarships to study abroad with indigent students who they are meant to take care of in the first place? This is a big question renowned businessman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe is asking after reports revealed that names of some high ranking appointees of President Nana Akufo-Addo are on the list of beneficiaries of public scholarships. The Doscar Group Holdings Chairman (in a public post today) could not hide his anger at these public officials who he said lack compassion for the poor and the vulnerable in the society. Can you imagine scholarship meant for the poor, needy but bright students to study abroad has been hijacked by appointees of the NPP administration who are already enjoying free Land Cruisers (including maintenance), free fuel, free accommodation, free traveling allowances, (and) many other free stuffs?

Now, the question (is) what (else) do they want in life? (They have) no contentment, no compassion for the poor and the vulnerable in our society, who have no one to protect them.

President Akufo Addo said recently in Parliament that Ghana is now in 'competent hands'. Competent hands (really)? Where? (These are) jokers who deserve to be in jail for their actions!

Notoble amoung the appointees who have unleashed such evil act on the poor are: Education Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh; Procurement Minister, Adwoa Safo; Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta; and Executive Secretary of NaCCA, Dr Prince Armah.

Why? So, what else is corruption? This is beyond criminal act! Can you imagine something meant for the poor and the needy has been hijacked by the same people who are supposed to supervise it? Oh, Mother Ghana.

Ken Ofori-Atta last year which listed notable Ghanaians (perceived to be opposed to the current government) targeted to be dealt with, a similar memo also written by him in 2016 has also surfaced in the public. HRH Oscar Yao Doe, a renowned former financier of the NPP who has declared his new support for the NDC, has said the revelation confirmed his earlier declaration about the wickedness some men in the current government have visited on perceived enemies, without conscience and love for country.

In their view, those Ghanaian-owned businesses have become too big and that they would be a threat to the survival of the Akufo Addo presidency. The NPP rubbished it as fake news then. I myself didn't believe the content of that memo at the time. I thought it was not accurate. It now makes a lot of sense. But why? Why?, Why? why? For what?

HRH Oscar Yao has blasted the Governor of Bank of Ghana Dr Ernest Addison for turning the Bank of Ghana into a PR machine. He said the Bank of Ghana has turned itself into a mouthpiece of the government trying to engage in a damage control campaign to cover up the mess created by the ongoing brouhaha in the country's financial sector. The Doscar Group Holdings Chairman however cautioned Dr. Addison to stop dragging the integrity of the apex bank in the mud.

Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has queried the sincerity of the Prez Nana Akufo-Addo-led administration over the $600m funds recently released for the Bauxite deal Ghana government had with the Chinese government. Having failed in rescuing a lot of Ghanaian-owned banks and other financial institutions, after spending over 21 billion GHS on a controversial reform process, the businessman said there could not be any justification for the money just released by the Chinese. Rather, according to the businessman, he only played a major role of collecting campaign support funds on behalf of Nana Akuffo-Addo.

The Doscar Group Chairman however went on, in a post to reveal that he was the master tactician behind the success of the Akuffo-Addo campaign, particularly during 2006/07 NPP presidential primaries. He listed his many supports to the campaign, drawing a clear comparison with that of Ken Ofori-Atta.

As the countdown to the next elections are drawing near, City Bizman, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has said that support for President Nana Akuffo-Addo is getting softer every day, no thanks to the handwork of some key men in his administration who did irreparable damage to the soul of Ghana's economy. He also said that lamentations from some key members of the ruling NPP over the consequences of the actions of these key government officials on the president's chances in the elections, may have been coming a little too late. KingOscar even threatened that most of Prez Akuffo-Addo's bankrollers may campaign against him at the polls because of his supposed laziness in checking the excesses of some government officials, his cousins and their advisors.

He was reacting, in his post this morning, to a report that quoted outspoken Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong firing the Bank of Ghana Governor, Ernest Addison for not taking into account the interest of the ruling New Patriotic Party  (NPP) in his line of work at the Central Bank and yet expects ‘others’ to campaign to win 2020 for him to continue in office.

He was reacting to news of procurement irregularities in the selection of Bank of Ghana receivers, saying the receivers were handpicked, instead of a competitive bidding process which would have ensured that the country got value for money and catering for NPP interest.

HRH Oscar Yao Doe has called on the Ghana Parliament to step into the ongoing banking industry scandals, urging them to particularly investigate how the finance minister and his team who oversaw the recent reforms in the banking sector, spent a whoping 14 billion GHS in that process that led to the collapse of indigenous banks and hundreds of financial institutions. The chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, HRH Oscar Yao Doe has called out the Head of Banking Supervision at the Bank of Ghana, Osei Gyasi, adding him to the list of individuals that needed to be questioned over the ongoing banking crisis in Ghana. The Question Is Which Criteria Do We Use In Ghana To Appoint People Into Very Important Portfolios? Is It Masters Degree. Is IT Ph.D?

Or (Just) Chairing Committees And Doing Some Feasibility Studies?

I Suppose This Is The Criteria.. Any Person (To Be Considered For Public Portfolios) Must Have Demonstrated Or Proved Personal Achievements Either In The Public Or Private Sector Before A High Profile Portfolio Can Be Given To Handle Because The Ability To Make Very Critical Decisions Within A Moment Is (Very) Key. And Most Importantly, The Ability To Make Decisions Based On Fairness And Open Mindedness Is Extremely Essential.

With All Due Respect To His Family,  I Score Mr Osei Gyasi A Zero In Terms Of Performance! I Think He Is Just There Doing 'Yes Sir Master (A Yesman Job). Because, It Took 4 Beautiful Months To Respond To A Letter Which Is Bringing Money To The State. Meanwhile, Too Much Nonsense Of Noise Was Going Via The Media Through The Bank Of Ghana Publications "We Are Protecting Depositors' Money", We Are Cleaning The Banking Sector", The Recovery Process Is Slow", This And That! History book Scorecard Will Consider Ken As The Man Who Declined To Pay Debts That Ghana Government Owed To Local Banks During Prez John Mahama's Era. Paying Off These Debts Timely Could've Helped Local Banks To Improve Their Liquidity Position. He Could Have Also Made A Decision To Buy Back The ADB Shares Favouring Unibank, To Improve The Bank's Liquidity. Was It Done Deliberately? Only Time Can Tell.

Pull Him Down Syndrome, Lack Of Education And Exposure Hurting Ghana Badly - Oscar Doe

In one of his recent public posts, Chairman of Doscar Group Holdings, Oscar Yao Doe has revealed how Lack of proper education and exposure, as well as a well-rooted 'Pull Him Down' culture have seen the fortunes of Ghana dwindling, thereby leaving the country's future bleak.

The versatile business tycoon said Ghana is truly sick at the moment and questioned whether the current leaders running the country are up to the task of turning things around for good. 

KingOscar cited the ongoing crisis rocking the financial sector of the country as a key instance, in his post. He once again hit out at the Governor of the Bank of Ghana (who he also alleged of covering up a 400k GHS Bribery Scandal) and the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, for their roles in the liquidation of some indigenous financial institutions and local companies in the country.

Oscar Yao Doe has yet again lashed out Nii Amanor Dodoo and Co, over their involvement in the recent collapse of Unibank and other locally owned financial institutions in Ghana. The businessman again reinforced his accusation against Nii Amanor Dodoo, Governor of Bank of Ghana, Dr Ernest Addison and the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta in a fresh public post this morning, where he accused certain evil-minded people of using state machinery to destroy the businesses of some well-to-do Ghanaians. 

He however questioned the motives of these men behind the act, capable of throwing the country's economy into jeopardy.

Laughable (Enough), Yesterday, Nii Amanor Dodoo Claimed Through The News Media That He Has Turned Himself Into A Ghost of Unibank, And That He Is Taking Unibank Owners to Court. Meanwhile He Forgotten Himself Was The Lead Butcher With Criminal Intent To KILLED UNIBANK.

The Court May Ask Which Unibank Are You Talking About? Is It The Unibank That People Ganged Up Against To Destroy? Or Perhaps A New Unibank Has Been Formed With The Following Shareholders; Nii Amanor Dodoo, Ken Ofori-Atta, Ernest Addison & Co?
